Based in Boston, MA, Carbon Black is a growing IT security company with clients worldwide. To help them recruit the best talent, they hired Vermont video production company Mondo Mediaworks to produce a video that showcases their female workforce. Using Mondo’s extremely agile video shooting team, the entire piece was shot in one day in downtown Boston. Fun fact: Shane strapped on rollerblades and a steady-cam to film the bicycle scenes on the streets of Boston.
As the primary trade association for North American ski area operators, NSAA is responsible for acting as ambassador to the public. They represent ski areas of all sizes, but the small hills can sometimes be easily overshadowed by the giant resorts. In anticipation of its annual convention, attended by hundreds of ski industry professionals, NSAA hired Mondo to tell the story of one of the country's smallest ski areas: Living Memorial Park in Brattleboro, Vermont.
Sailing, archery, guitar lessons, swimming... squeezing the myriad activities offered at this YMCA summer camp into one 90-second video was a challenge that Mondo was eager to take on. Our quick-moving crew filmed over the course of a few sunny days in southern New Hampshire and produced this final piece, which was featured on Takodah's homepage just in time for camp registration season.
